How did fish acquire a taste for worms?
If only…
I get it now…
I’ve always felt that there was something missing from the relationships I’ve had in Santa Barbara. I recently figured it out. I feel as if the guys are saying, “This is my life and my pace, and if you can keep up, you’re welcome to join”.
I’ve had the pleasure to befriend a very happily married man and stand in awe at his relationship. They have such a strong and healthy relationship and I knew I could learn a lot from him. He is living across the country from his family, working a new job while the kids finish the school year before they join him. Tonight, he shared a conversation he had with his wife. She was feeling a little down about uprooting her life and moving thousands of miles away. He said to her, “just say the word and I’ll pack up and come back, because it’s not home without you anyway”.
That’s what’s missing.

Real life - No strings attached
(K) Emma: The height difference! When we stand next to each other it looks like he’s kidnapping me.
(M) Patrice: You always do this. You always find something wrong with everybody who likes you. And I date guys who have real problems. I date guys who steal my credit card and then they tell me it’s my fault because I left it out. You find these perfect guys and then you’re like, it will never work he’s too happy.
(K) Emma: Look I know I’m supposed to want to be in a relationship, but I just end up with a broken heart and a bunch of his old t-shirts.
